About Cousin Dave
Cousin Dave Cantwell is a multi-talented artist with a rich history in music and entertainment. Born and raised in Shenandoah, PA, he developed a passion for percussion from a young age, starting his drumming journey in the 6th grade. After graduating from Shenandoah Valley High School in 2003, Dave pursued his love for music by studying under the guidance of Professor Jack Schmidt, where he honed his drumming skills and deepened his understanding of music.
Over the years, Cousin Dave has been a part of several notable bands, including Truckstop Lovechild, Cyanide Sunrise, and The Boys Upstairs. These experiences not only shaped his musical style but also established his presence in the music scene.
Today, Cousin Dave is best known for his role as the Tour Manager and Merchandise Manager for the internationally renowned band, Crobot. Not only does he manage the band's tours worldwide, but he also takes the stage as "Doctor Steve," a memorable character who adds an electrifying element to their performances.
When he's home in Pennsylvania, Cousin Dave teams up with the lead singer of Crobot, Brandon Yeagley, for local performances that captivate audiences with their unique blend of music and showmanship. Moreover, he is the co-founder of two notable events, the Schuylkill County Brew Fest and Brewsgiving: Festival of Friends, which have become staples in the Pennsylvania beer festival scene.
